Meet The Editor, James Morgan

Hello. I’m James, a freelance copywriter and cricket blogger who has edited TFT since 2009. I’ll quickly tell you about me.

I’m a writer and author with over 20 years’ professional experience. I’m a former advertising agency copywriter – I worked at the direct marketing arm of JWT for three years – but decided to go freelance to pursue other opportunities. One of them was to become a cricket blogger and found this website. It’s been a ride!

I’ve written copy for big brands and penned sports articles for the the 888 sport blog, Talking Baws, and the Vodaphone blog. I’ve also completed a PhD and written an academic book about the concept of US imperialism. My real area of expertise, however, remains the cover drive.
